Description:
The CEL-254 has additional functions to the CEL-231 including both A and C frequency weighting. It has Slow, Fast and an Impulse time weighting and a maximum hold feature. The maximum hold will detect the highest level of noise and hold this on the display. The CEL-254 is suitable for steady and fluctuating noise levels. An overload indicator and a low battery warning are included in the display. It is possible to check the battery condition anytime during operation. Both analogue AC and log DC outputs are available for feeding tape recorders or chart recorders. The CEL-254 features a 70 dB measurement range covering the range from 30 to 100 on the LO setting and 65 to 135 dB on the HI setting. Common Features for the CEL-231, 254 and 269 Accuracy +/-1 dB under reference conditions IEC 60651:1996 Type 2, ANSI S1.4 1983 Type 2A Display 3 1/2 digits 12.7 mm high character LCD Auxiliary outputs: AC Conditioned 7.25V RMS.
