Q8163 polarization scrambler uses ADVANTEST?fs original polarization-variance method. By adopting the high-speed optical-fiber polarization scramble unit, Q8163 achieves: Fast and ensured measurement of polarization dependent loss (PDL) can be made by using it with Q8221 series optical power meter, which offers low polarization dependency, high-speed measurement and the LD light source.
